Daisy's In Denial
she wears a sweater 'round her neck
...cause she forgets
all the social implications
of her vast imagination
and she's numb to agrivation and regret
So she walks.
and as she walks you see her stumble
With a quiet little mumble.
She's paralyzed by "Humble"
so she laughs.
And as she does she throws her head back
Her eyes have got that "dead" back,
as she demonstrates a playback
before she goes
I'm sure her knees are bleeding,
with her muscle tissues screaming
mastered the art of calm deceiving
She wants some tea.
And she's tipping twice the price
of the Tea, becuase she's nice.
(She doesn't know she can intice
with just her walk.)
She knows that walking just means stumbling,
and laughing's masking crumbling.
She's learned to just need nothing
Smile and Talk.
