Fairytales, Freedom and Mountain Men

Dawning realization of impermanence.
Fairy tales are stories and not memories
(Aside from reminisces of childhood wishes.)
Men on mountaintops live on mountaintops for reasons.
They’re to be left alone in high places
Untouched by the streets and valley’s grasses.
and I’m meant to wander the prairie sky
with rings on my fingers bells on my sleeve.
To dance to Simon and Sarah and Queen
To Invite tentative toes to tap with me.
I’ve left my family to tender wishes
Left my mother to do the dishes
Last saw my father along side his brother
Out of the house to be not smothered
Realizations of new vibrations
Bring solemn songs for me to sing
Fairy tales were not written for me
to be the princess and story’s lead

Perhaps fairy tales end up being written about those brave and bold enough to live them… I think you are quite nice, of course.
